Following this tradition, the group experiences at Engage!25 Tuscany were all about discovering Castelfalfi in a new and more in-depth way. Set amidst the resort’s breathtaking landscapes, each activity invited us to connect with Tuscany’s rich cultural traditions, artisanal practices, and wild natural beauty. With eleven thoughtfully curated options ranging from yoga with a view (and what a view!) to falconry and beekeeping, these small group activities offered something for every interest. They were also a rich source of inspiration for group trips and destination weddings in Tuscany!

Here’s a closer look at the unforgettable experiences that gave attendees a true taste of the Tuscan lifestyle.
Truffle Hunting
A Tuscan treasure hunt like no other. This was a dream activity for foodies and dog lovers alike. Guests wandered through the Castelfalfi woods, led by a local truffle hunter and his faithful canine companions. With noses to the ground, the hounds led the way to one of Tuscany’s most prized delicacies. There was also the opportunity to learn about the different kinds of truffles that grow in the region.
Castelfalfi Wine & Olive Oil Tasting
An oenophile’s dream and a tribute to Tuscany’s unique terroir. Attendees visited the estate’s barrel room for a guided tasting of Castelfalfi’s award-winning wines and extra virgin olive oils produced by the internal olive mill. With three varieties of each to try, accompanied by stories from the Makers, every sip was a true celebration of the land.
Beekeeping
Brave attendees suited up for this sweet-as-honey experience – an up-close look at the Castelfalfi bee hives. Guided by professional beekeepers, guests learned the art and science of the hive before sampling the estate’s own organic wildflower honey. It was a fascinating window into the world of these precious creatures.
Yoga Session
Up on the terrace, surrounded by a panorama of sunlit hills and cypress trees, the yoga class offered balance, clarity, and calm. With every breath of fresh country air, attendees eased into mindfulness, releasing stress and inviting presence. It was a grounding counterpoint to the week’s energy.
Falconry
Deep in the estate woods, guests were given the opportunity to explore the ancient art of falconry. They met Thor, Castelfalfi’s resident falcon and, with guidance from expert handlers, donned protective gloves to send him soaring into the sky. It was a rare chance to witness the power, precision, and beauty of the hawk, as well as the timeless bond between bird and human.
Olfactory Experience
This scent-sational session awakened the senses in unexpected ways. Through interactive exercises, participants explored the emotional resonance of fragrance, their connection to color, and their impact on memory and ambiance. Everyone also received a bespoke scent to take home.
Tarot Card Reading
A little mysticism, a little introspection! These tarot sessions invited attendees to explore life’s questions through the symbolic language of the cards. Whether pondering work, relationships, or personal growth, each reading was a reflective pause and a chance to embrace their life journey.
Calligraphy Workshop
Ink, intention, and inspiration flowed at this peaceful hands-on session! Guests learned the fundamentals of calligraphy, including brush handling, ink application, and stroke formation. They also explored how the art of handwriting can add a personal, timeless touch to menus, place cards, and wedding invitations.
Heritage Tour
History came alive on this walking tour through the cobbled streets of the Borgo. Guided by local experts, visitors learned of Etruscan roots, noble families, and the castle’s centuries-old legacy. It was a rare chance to walk in the footsteps of the past.
Tree Top Adventure
An exhilarating journey through the treetops for the adventurous at heart! This high-altitude experience took attendees across a Tibetan bridge, through woodland tunnels, and through a treetop village. It was a reminder to climb higher – and maybe sometimes let your inner child take the lead!
Eco-Printing Workshop
Art met nature in this creative workshop where leaves, flowers, and berries became creative tools. Participants used plant-based materials to create one-of-a-kind botanical prints, unveiling their finished works the next day.
More than a change of scenery, these small group adventures offered attendees a deeper connection to Tuscany’s land, culture, and one another.
