Talk about La Dolce Vita! Night two of Engage!24 Amalfi Coast was an evening of culinary exploration and indulgence, also designed to foster intimate connections between our attendees. (Not to mention making some core food memories!) A long-standing Engage! tradition, the dine-around experience breaks down the larger group so guests are able get to know one another better. At the Amalfi Coast Dine-Arounds and Dessert party, guests were able to savor the flavors of Ravello while enjoying the company of fellow wedding professionals. When the dinners were over, everyone came back together for a sweet end to the evening in the form of a dessert party! This night was all about deepening relationships, experiencing the best of local cuisine, and indulging in sweet treats in a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere.
Dine-Arounds Ravello Style
The Amalfi Coast Dine-Arounds took Engage!24 attendees on a culinary journey through three of Ravello’s most charming restaurants, each offering its own unique ambiance and menu of local specialties.
Trattoria da Lorenzo
Nestled in the village of Scala, opposite Ravello, Trattoria da Lorenzo provided an authentic family trattoria experience. Known for its excellent seafood, this gem has been delighting diners for decades. Of course, the highlight was a main course of salt-crusted fresh fish that tasted as good as it looked!
Enotavolo Wine Bar at Palazzo della Marra
Located in a 13th-century stone building, this local favorite offered diners a menu that celebrated traditional Italian cuisine. Attendees indulged in a variety of antipasti, including deep-fried pizza, eggplant parmigiana, cheese and salumi, bruschetta, and meatballs. The main course featured Lasagne, followed by a delectable lemon ravioli.
Mimi Pizzeria e Cucina
Mimi Pizzeria e Cucina offered a communal dining experience where food was made for sharing. The menu featured mixed pizza bites, pasta, meatballs, and also provola cheese smoked between lemon leaves. Attendees enjoyed the relaxed and lively atmosphere, perfect for fostering new connections and deepening existing ones.
The Sweet Finale: Dessert Party
After the multiple courses of the Engage!24:Amalfi Coast Dine-Arounds, attendees gathered at Caruso, a Belmond Hotel, for a Dessert Party that was a feast for the senses. It was held in the stunning Bar Caruso, which boasts 18th-century frescoes and incredible views. The space was transformed by Vincenzo Dascanio into a magical garden filled with lush purple blooms and dozens of candles.
The dessert options were as varied as they were delicious, featuring tarts, mousses, and classic tiramisu. These desserts were expertly prepared by Caruso’s executive chef, Armando Aristarco. They were beautifully displayed, inviting guests to indulge all their senses.
The Dress Code
The dress code for the evening was Natty Neutrals, encouraging attendees to don their best neutral-toned attire. This theme complemented the sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere of the evening, allowing guests to feel both stylish and comfortable as they moved between venues and mingled with peers.
The Engage!24 Amalfi Coast dine-arounds and dessert party was a delightful evening filled with all the best things in life. Good food, good wine, and good people! It also set the tone for the final day of the summit, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the experiences yet to come.
