It’s just a few days until the doors swing open to reveal the treasures awaiting our attendees at Engage!24 Amalfi Coast. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Ravello, Italy, this much-anticipated event will gather luminaries from the global luxury event industry in the opulent setting of the Caruso, a Belmond Hotel. We love to surprise and delight our guests. But we couldn’t resist just peeling back a few layers and sharing some of the incredible Engage!24 Amalfi Coast branding. As always, it was created for this event by our friends at TPD Design House.
We’re so excited that this talented design team has once again taken on the brand design and art direction for the Engage!24 Amalfi Coast branding. They are a true creative force, and their dedication to crafting immersive experiences is evident in every detail. Drawing inspiration from the destination itself, TPD Design House always blows us away. Their design infuses each element with a sense of place and meaning. This ensures a seamless connection between design, event, and location.
The Inspiration
The process usually starts with one central idea. This is followed by a moodboard, a color palette, the event logo, paper details, themed gifting, and more. To arrive at this central idea, TPD Design House looks at what makes the destination iconic. For example, the history, landscape, or art, colors, and textures found around the hotel. For Engage!24 Amalfi Coast, the team had a wealth of ideas to choose from. Amalfi is a place steeped in history, culture, and natural beauty. Drawing from this rich tapestry, the moodboard serves as a visual journey through time and place. It also reflects the essence of luxury that defines both Engage! and the venue: Caruso, a Belmond Hotel.
Perched between the sea and sky in the hilltop town of Ravello, Caruso is an 11th-century palace that embodies romance and la bella vita charm. Once a retreat for literary luminaries like Virginia Woolf and frequented by Hollywood royalty including Humphrey Bogart and Greta Garbo, Caruso exudes an aura of timeless elegance and sophistication, and provided our designers with lots of ideas.
The Logo
The iconic Amalfi coastline and the architecture that adorns its mountainsides has long been an inspiration for artists. So it’s only appropriate that the Engage!24 Amalfi Coast icon is also a testament to the picturesque landscapes and the cascading beauty of the Caruso Belmond estate. The simplistic stylization of the icon pays homage to the ‘Italian Way,’ embracing the values of simplicity, quality, and the art of savoring life’s moments. It also embodies the spirit of Engage!24, inviting guests to embark on a mindful journey of meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences. It sets the stage for an immersive and unforgettable event, where every detail will be crafted with care and passion.
The Color Palette
Guests will be greeted by a captivating color palette carefully curated to evoke the essence of this breathtaking destination. Azure blue, reminiscent of the serene Mediterranean waters, mingles with bright bougainvillea, lemon yellow, coral, and Aperol orange. Earthy tones of coffee and olive green pay homage to the region’s rustic charm and lush landscapes. Together, these hues create a harmonious palette that sets the stage for unforgettable moments of connection and celebration.
At the helm of Engage!24 is Italian event impresario, Vincenzo Dascanio, renowned for his innovative approach and unparalleled expertise in crafting immersive event experiences. We can’t wait to see how this creative director brings to life the enchanting allure of the Amalfi Coast, weaving together elements of luxury, culture, and natural beauty. It’s sure to be a truly unforgettable experience for all in attendance… but you’ll have to wait and see what he and our other partners have in store!
