Engage!25 Mallorca marked our 51st event, arriving on the heels of the golden milestone we celebrated together in Peru and opening a fresh new chapter in our global story. This time, we gathered on the island of Mallorca, where sparkling turquoise waters meet quiet coves, and rugged mountains frame centuries of history. As the largest of Spain’s Balearic isles, Mallorca has long been a cultural crossroads with a living tradition of artistry that runs through everything from Ikat textiles to handmade ceramics. It’s a place that feels suspended in time, while still looking towards the future. Against this backdrop, we welcomed an extraordinary group of luxury event professionals from around the world for an immersive retreat. Three full days crafted to spark connection, reflection, and the kind of shared inspiration that happens when brilliant minds come together in a place designed to expand them.

Guiding the vision was creative director Tara Fay. Her personal history with Spain and deep love for this island shaped every detail of the experience. Her approach honored Mallorca’s soul: its stories, its evolving identity, its spirit of artistry and reinvention. Through her lens, Engage!25 Mallorca embraced the island not as a postcard-perfect paradise, but as a legacy, alive with creative possibility.

Our home for the retreat was the newly reimagined Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor. Nestled on a vast estate at the edge of the UNESCO-protected Serra de Tramuntana, the resort blends modern Mediterranean elegance with a glamorous legacy of hosting artists, writers, dreamers, and innovators. Set between pine forests, and golden sands, its secluded setting on Cap de Formentor felt like a coastal hideaway reserved just for us. For our community, it became both stage and sanctuary, a place where every element combined to elevate our time together.

The Brand & Paper Details
For Engage!25 Mallorca, our creative partners TPD Design House crafted a visual identity that felt deeply rooted in the region’s heritage and natural beauty. TPD drew inspiration from Mallorca’s iconic Ikat textiles, also known as roba de llengües (cloths of tongues). This technique was brought to the Balearics in the 18th century along the Silk Route. It has since become distinctively Mallorcan. The signature “E” icon echoed these flowing patterns, as well as the island’s winding coastal roads and dramatic cliffs.

In the same spirit, the branding drew from these elements in an organic way, using a layered palette of blues, greens, and refined earthy neutrals woven through every touchpoint, from signage to paper goods. Together, these elements offered cohesive storytelling and a sense of place, capturing Mallorca’s unique blend of sophistication, nature, and craft.

Gifting & Registration
Registration unfolded inside the light-filled Cercle Bar, an open, circular space designed as the welcoming heart of Four Seasons Formentor. It was such a fitting place for guests to quite literally step into the circle of Engage!25 Mallorca! Here, sea views, warm textures, and elegant Mediterranean design encouraged relaxed conversation from the moment of arrival. As is Engage! tradition, attendees received their nametagalopes, printed programs, and Engage!25 Mallorca book.

From there, the atmosphere shifted into our signature interactive shopping experience, an inviting swirl of connection and thoughtful discovery. For this edition, gifting centered on Mallorca’s artisanal heritage. Attendees selected handwoven Ikat bags from Teixits Vicens, beautiful wines from Vinyes de Formentor, and signature fragrances from Agua de Baleares, as well as ceramics, small-batch olive oil, premium sea salt from Flor de Sal, Vicens carquinyolis cookies, and candles by Cerería Mollà, among other treats. Carefully sourced and deeply rooted in tradition, these pieces offered guests a way to bring home the textures, flavors, and stories of the island.

Sessions & Workshops
The learning space at Engage!25 Mallorca was the Cap de Formentor Ballroom, a serene room dressed in whites and soft neutrals. The creative team extended the Ikat-inspired branding into the décor. Textile panels in Mediterranean blues hovered behind the stage, while upholstered chairs and custom notebooks echoed the same motif. Lush tropical greenery in white urns added texture and calm.

This retreat was designed around intention: personal development, cross-disciplinary learning, and the kind of peer-to-peer exchange that asks us to show up not just as professionals but as people. Across three days, attendees explored themes of growth, leadership, relevance, and well-being through a mix of panels, Q&As, and facilitated conversations. Day one opened with welcome remarks and a powerful discussion on The Future of Luxury Weddings. The following day continued the momentum with sessions on intentional growth, protecting creativity, EFT tapping for calm and balance, and a dual publication-and-legal Q&A that broadened perspective across the industry.

Some of the most meaningful moments happened in the first Engage x Freeda Network circles. These outdoor ‘Cabana Conversations’ were structured around curated small groups and were designed to foster honest, strategic, behind-the-scenes engagement. Here, attendees stepped into more intimate, unstructured dialogue. Without stages or microphones, these discussions created space for vulnerability, clarity, and renewed purpose across specialties. By the final morning, the collective takeaway was clear: inspiration is powerful, but connection is transformative. The conversations in Mallorca will continue to shape the work and leadership of our community long after the retreat.

The Welcome Party
Our first evening in Spain opened with a fiesta that captured the island’s vibrant energy. The grounds of Four Seasons Formentor were transformed into a Mallorcan market for our Welcome Party. It was alive with color, layered textiles, and handcrafted touches curated with local design partners. Guests dressed in ‘Caftailing Chic,’ a swirl of linens, silks, and effortless Mediterranean style. Together they wandered between regional Spanish food stations decked in vibrant florals and garlands, or relaxed in open-air lounges. There was live music and flamenco dancers, cava and cocktails, friends old and new. It was a joyful beginning – a teaser of the beauty, culture, and friendship-building that awaited in the days ahead.

Breaks & Lunches
At Engage!25 Mallorca, even the pauses between sessions were designed to honor the Balearic rhythm, as well as the varied spaces of our host property. They were gentle reminders to slow down, step outside, breathe the sea air, and recenter. A siesta within the fiesta. On day one, our afternoon break was a sun-drenched ode to summer, with chilled spritzes and ice cream from Four Seasons Formentor’s artisan parlor, Crocant.

The following day, lunch unfolded on the outdoor patio at Quiosc. Here, views of the Bay of Formentor complemented a menu rooted entirely in Ballearic ingredients. Fresh, simple, and meant to be savored!

Finally, on day three, guests visited the hotel’s private vineyard finca, a dreamy farmhouse courtyard surrounded by stone arches and draped in bougainvillea. Laughter drifted across the terrace as guests mingled and sampled the seasonal delicacies on offer, while sipping on local wines. A little slice of Spanish heaven.

Can Axartell Winery Dinner & Dessert Party
Night two of Engage!25 Mallorca took us to the breathtaking Can Axartell Winery. This organic estate with nearly eight centuries of history is carved into the cliffs of Pollença, with sweeping valley views. Guests began the evening with a glass of wine in the loading bay, where grapes typically start their journey. A guided wander through the futuristic, rock-cut winery revealed Can Axartell’s gravity-driven process and biodynamic philosophy before nightfall led us into the barrel room for dinner where candlelight, lush greenery, and snaking arrangements of circular tables created an intimate atmosphere. The space glowed in rich wine tones, echoed by the guests’ vineyard-toned attire. We enjoyed an extraordinary locally-driven menu by Fosh Catering, and conversation flowed as smoothly as the wine. It all finished off the Engage! way, with some spectacular desserts of course!

Small Group Experiences
The small group experiences were a highlight of Engage!25 Mallorca. They offered attendees the chance to explore the destination through intimate, mindfully curated excursions hosted by Four Seasons Formentor. Designed to showcase Mallorca’s artistry, nature, and culture, each activity felt personal, grounding, and closely linked to the retreat’s ethos. From painting among sunlit vineyards in Art in the Vines to off-road adventures toward the Formentor Lighthouse, guests were invited to see the island’s landscapes and traditions up close.

What we love most about these moments is the way they foster genuine connection. Some attendees immersed themselves in craftsmanship at Teixits Vicens, watching master weavers bring Mallorcan textiles to life, while others rolled dough in a pastry workshop or learned the secrets of seafood paella with the Four Seasons culinary team. Whether on a cultural journey through Pollensa or as part of a joyful Sevillana dance class, these hands-on activities created space for laughter, shared learning, and deeper bonds. And each experience captured a part of the Mallorcan spirit: vibrant, warm, and unforgettable.

The Gala Dinner
Our final evening unfolded on the breathtaking Es Colomer Terrace, as the Supermoon rose over Formentor Bay and set the tone for a truly celestial finale. Guests arrived in ‘Starry, Starry Night’ attire: metallics, blues, and soft cosmic hues that shimmered under the moonlight. Designed by creative director, Tara Fay, the glamorous evening embraced a full Supermoon theme. It was also a nod to the Hollywood stars who once vacationed at this historic property, including Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. The terrace glowed in layers of gold, silver, and midnight blue, creating an atmosphere that felt both ethereal and celebratory. As dinner gave way to dancing, ALR Music ignited the night with a high-energy performance that sent the dance floor into orbit and closed Engage!25 Mallorca on a dazzling, unforgettable note.

Thank you to our attendees, partners, creative collaborators, and the extraordinary team at Four Seasons Formentor for helping bring Engage!25 Mallorca to life. We left with cups full and so much excitement for this new phase – one of renewal, connection, and overflowing inspiration. May the conversations continue, the friendships deepen, and the journey lead us to the next unforgettable Engage! (See you soon in Santa Barbara!)
