Whether the afternoon looked like a Ferrari on a cliff road or the calm of a sound bath, there were no wrong turns. Perfume Creation at Parfumerie Galimard
In Èze, attendees stepped into the world of French fragrance at Parfumerie Galimard, one of the Riviera’s most storied perfume houses. Guided by a perfumery expert, guests learned the different stages of perfume development before creating their own Eau de Parfum. Working from an “organ” of 18 notes across base, heart, and top categories, each participant built a custom scent that reflected their own preferences and personality. Each unique formula was registered in the Galimard database.
Cruise Along the Coast
Few places are better experienced from the water than the French Riviera. This private boat experience gave attendees the chance to cruise along the coast with a personal skipper, taking in panoramic views of Monaco and the surrounding shoreline. The route included Monaco’s bay, with views of The Rock, the Prince’s Palace, the old town, and the Oceanographic Museum, as well as The Maybourne Riviera itself. It was a relaxed, scenic way to appreciate the drama of the coastline and the striking cliffside setting of our host property.
Supercar Driving Experience
For those craving something a little faster, the supercar experience brought serious Monaco energy. Attendees had the opportunity to ride in or drive some of the world’s most iconic cars, including a Maserati, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. They took to the panoramic roads of the French Riviera, James Bond-style. It was bold, glamorous, and high-adrenaline. Exactly the kind of experience that captures the region’s famous sense of style and spectacle!
Walking Tour Through Monaco
For a slower but equally fascinating perspective, some attendees spent the afternoon exploring Monaco on foot. The walking tour traced the principality’s history and landmarks, including the cathedral, the Prince’s Palace, and the old town. Along the way, guests learned more about Monaco’s royal heritage, its architectural charm, and the enduring legacy of Grace Kelly. It was an opportunity to discover the stories, streets, and cultural details that give Monaco its extraordinary character.

Back at The Maybourne Riviera, a cocktail and mocktail masterclass invited attendees to shake things up a little. Held in the fifth-floor bar, the workshop gave guests the chance to step into the role of mixologist. Pilates with the Lagree Method
For guests looking to move with intention, a Pilates class at Surrenne Riviera offered a focused and energizing reset. Using the Lagree Method, the class emphasized controlled movements, strength, balance, and precision. Each motion became a moment of concentration, creating a workout that felt both challenging and restorative.
Sound Bath Experience
The sound bath experience offered one of the day’s most peaceful moments. Guided by the vibrations of gongs and crystal bowls, attendees were invited into a state of deep relaxation. The low, resonant tones of the gong helped release tension and quiet the mind, while the pure frequencies of the crystal bowls created a layered soundscape designed to support emotional clarity and calm.
Our attendees also had the option to enjoy the hotel at their own pace, including time by The Maybourne Riviera’s spectacular cliffside infinity pool. With sweeping views over the Mediterranean, the pool offered a relaxed and unmistakably Riviera way to spend the afternoon.
